SIP client configuration
Different SIP clients (hardware SIP phones, ATAs and software ones) have different configuration screens, but all have a common set of configuration parameters.

SIP Account : 1
Username (or User ID): username SIP login name is a 10-digit number
Password: SIP password
Auth name (or Auth ID): same username SIP login name
Display Name (used for callerId information): 99 + username SIP login name
SIP Proxy (or proxy, or domain): sip66.homelinux.com
SIP proxy outbound (or "Outbound Proxy"): leave blank
DID number : None Selected
SIP Port : 5060
Voice Codec : G.729, 40ms packet size
Register (or Send registration request): Yes
Caller ID : 99 + username SIP login name
Your network caller id is "99 + username SIP login name", add 99 infront to your login number. You can please calls free of charge with in the network.
G729a Codec Name (for Linksys/Sipura/Cisco ATAs) G729. Default name is set to G729a and might not work with our service, go to Admin/Advanced/SIP in ATA settings to change the codec name.
